30+ Years of Set Dressing for Film and Television
​Tim Metzger has led set dressing teams in film and television for over 30 years creating sets from the ground up on sound stages or transforming locations in the NYC area. As Leadman, Tim ran set dressing for over 64 film and TV productions including: Maestro, IF, Sharper, Joker, The Greatest Showman, Billions, Dickinson, Men In Black.
The Leadman ensures the crew executes the sets based on the Set Decorator's designs and Art Director's established aesthetic before shooting and manages all set decoration inventory for each scene and location. In the film world, supporting Production Designers and Set Decorators involves immersion in many different design styles and time periods with multiple, ever changing sets .
Tim has transitioned his exacting art department skills in installation, fabrication and customization to home design and decoration. Tim takes great pride in creating unique and personalized solutions for each client.
